GETTING STARTED
WebEditor+ is a SaaS (Software
as a Service) that is available via the
internet only. There is no software to download
or install on your computer, or your website hosting company's
server. You simply login to WebEditor+ and proceed to
manage your web content.
Getting Started
is as easy as 1-2-3!
To use WebEditor+, an FTP (File Transfer
Protocol) connection between our webserver
and the computer your website is hosted
on needs to be established. This connection
will allow you to open and edit each page
with WebEditor+. This information was provided
by your hosting company when you signed
up.
Before you can
take advantage of the many features WebEditor+
has to offer, you will need to gather the
following information:
FTP Login Address:
This is likely the domain of your web
site (yoursite.com) or the IP address
pointing to your web site.
FTP User Name:
Supplied by your hosting company. If you
don't have this saved anywhere, you should
be able to determine this by logging in
to your hosting service control panel,
by contacting your webmaster, or by contacting
your hosting company.
FTP Password:
Supplied by your hosting company. If you
don't have this saved anywhere, you should
be able to determine this by logging in
to your hosting service control panel
or by contacting your hosting service.
Registration
steps:
- Create login account
- Enter Website Address (ie. www.mysite.com)
- Enter FTP information for Website.
(So WebEditor+ can update your Web pages.)
Now you are ready to edit
your Web pages!
